This past weekend featured the first major long-distance mushing race of the season, The Copper Basin 300. It was won by Allen Moore, the defending champion of the grueling 1000 mile Yukon Quest. And the Quest itself starts in just a couple of weeks here in Fairbanks. Though I don’t do it often enough, I really enjoy photographing mushing. In honor of the season getting underway, here is a gallery of some of my favorite images of Alaska’s Official State Sport. I think its pretty clear from these photos that the dogs really love to run, anyone who says otherwise, is just plain wrong.
Sorry, nothing found.
